Julissa Ramírez Technical Program Manager, Google Nest
Julissa Ramirez is a Technical Program Manager for the Google Nest team. Her team owns the module
technical & quality readiness for new products across the Google Devices & Services team – from Pixel to
Prior to Google she worked at Intel as a Technical Program Manager on the Drones team, a Global
Product Manager for Intel processors, and an Industrial Engineer in the Intel Mask Ops labs. Prior to Intel,
she was a Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman managing manufacturing operations on the
Submarine “Missile Launch Tube” program, and served as a Continuous Improvement Lead for the
Launcher SBU Marine Systems department.
Julissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology, a Master of
Science in Manufacturing and Mechanical Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology in NY, and
a Green Belt in Six Sigma.
A tireless advocate for women and underrepresented minorities, she is a co-founder and the Executive
Director of LISTAS, a Bay Area non-profit organization committed to increasing the number of women in
STEM fields through mentorship and exposure for Middle School students. She also serves as a Global
Lead for Google’s LatinX ERG – HOLA, and sits on the progression committee for Google’s Devices and
Services product area.
Julissa is a recipient of Google’s 2019 Connect Impact Award. In 2018 she was selected by the
Rochester Institute of Technology’ s College of Applied Science and Technology and received the Alumni
Rising Star Award. She was a recipient of the Hispanic Association for Corporate Responsibility’s 2016
Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever Award. In 2015 she received an Intel Division Recognition award,
and was the recipient of the Rising Star Award from the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) in 2014.
In 2013 she was an honoree and recipient of the Silicon Valley Latino “Top 40 under 40 Latinos to watch”
award for Science and Technology.
