Frontend developer with Angular JS & Typescript
Website Puzzle Theory
San Francisco, CA technology start-up is looking for a talented, passionate, driven, creative
frontend developer with Angular JS & Typescript.
1.WHY? What are we up to?
We are building a tech product ( web app and a platform) which is aiming at the film and music industry.
Unfortunately, we cannot disclose in detail in this posting what the product is about, but we can share what the product is NOT:
it’s not doing anything in the realm of video-on-demand, or any film/music streaming or subscription services. It is not some new codec technology. It is not related to crowdfunding, ticketing, or on-demand performance…
Frankly, nothing out there is similar, so we are not stepping on anyone’s toes.
It’s a novelty product, yet, right in the heart of the film and music industry!
The MVP of the product is done.
We are calling this initial release “Private Alpha”, because select early adopters are given access to join and use only via special invite.
We are currently working toward the Public Beta release, and aiming to roll out a significant part of it around Berlinale ( the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2020). Yes we are going to Berlin, in the coldest month, and hopefully you’ll be coming with us 🙂
2. THE TEAM, and WHO are we hoping to join us.
The core team is located in San Francisco, California, yet we are quite an international crowd.
Our frontend stack:
– Angular 7 (updating to 8 soon)
– NgXS (a Redux variation, for state management)
We also love
— proactive minds to constantly propose new ideas and processes to make our development faster and more efficient.
— UI components. Always. Everywhere.
— automated tests and clean code
— responsibility and commitment
The person we need should preferably be a seasoned developer.
Angular knowledge preferred but expertise on other framework might suffice, as long as this person is familiar with “UIs based in components” as a dev pattern.
Notions in client side web design would be appreciated, but not required.
It is ok, if you are already employed by another company, and looking to join an exciting opportunity as a side gig. Working with us on some evenings and weekends might be a good way to get to know us, and the product better, without taking too much risk, with the idea of joining us full time in the future.
Talk to us. Let us know where you stand.
Are you looking to put your foot in the door without leaving your current job yet? Are you an experienced developer and looking for a co-founding member opportunity?
Are you working independently on multiple projects (some for the money, some for the soul), and this one sounds like too good to miss?
We would love to hear the answer to any of these questions.
3. What do you do NEXT ?
