You’ll be responsible for VDI Service Architecture and Support globally for a scale of 6,000+ Virtual Workloads globally. Honeywell’s End User Computing (EUC) is a distributed team responsible for End User Computing Services. Our vision is to transform HON’s Digital Workplace by riving adoption of ZERO IT Touch Strategy. We reimagine end-user touch points by better aligning effective technology and analytics to deliver personalized services that enhances business productivity and customer satisfaction and reduce overall cost.

Key Responsibilities
• Take ownership of VDI Platform (Engineering and Non-Engineering) and recommend solutions that improves the user experience, system stability, and increase efficiency
• Analyze, refine, and further develop the Honeywell’s VDI initial implementation according to industry best practice
• Monitoring of VDI Platform & associated tools using vROPS, initials triage and corrective actions
• Adhere and support existing HON ITSM processes for VDI platform like Incident, Change, Problem and Release Management
• Provisioning of Desktop based on use-case & requirements and respective configurations
• Maintenance and Support of App Volumes App Stacks and providing assistance to end users to manage and support their respective app stacks
• Provide Support for NVIDIA graphics virtualization and related tasks like provisioning, assignment and performance tuning of end user graphics requirements
• Support VDI O.S. Images with regards to changes to configurations as requested by users
• Maintenance and update of support SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and actively participate in the development of new processes that adhere to best practices (and Firm developed standards) using ITIL methodology including Configuration Management, Organizational Change, and Release Management.
• Work with multi-functional groups (Application Services, Application Development and Infrastructure) to ensure solutions meet performance and reliability goals
• Develop and Maintain documentation of current environment
• Responsible for L3 and L4 Support
• Partner with business teams and deliver training for applicable tools & technologies

You Must Have
• 8+ years of Information Technology experience
• 5+ years combined technical experience with VMWare Horizon, Microsoft WVD, Thin App, App-V, App Volumes and NVIDIA vGPU

We Value
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject area
• Significant experience in designing, developing and debugging scalable End User Computing Solutions
• Advanced knowledge of Engineering and non-engineering workstations (Hardware) and migration to VDI Platforms
• Proficient Knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows Operating Systems
• Networking Skills. NSX Micro Segmentation. Storage Virtualizations (VSAN, NUTANIX)
• Experience working in DevOps model
• Passion for new technologies and innovation
• Conveys specific, observable, and/or measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding and agreement on deliverables and timeframes
