The Sr Network Architect within the Communications Organizations is a key leader in the enablement and delivery of global network solutions that are secure, compliant and agile across all Honeywell sites worldwide. The Sr. Network architect will assist, developing and implementing transformative data network solutions and services that meet current and emerging business requirements using contemporary and cutting-edge capabilities and functionality.
Develop architectural standards and designs which drive consistent, enterprise networking emphasizes on next generation wireless networks
Develop a plan for Software defined Access journey, and a consistent campus/branch networking architecture
Accelerate the consolidation and efficiency of LAN/Wireless LAN over a single network infrastructure that is cost effective and meets the connectivity requirements at all remote sites
Drive the transformation of legacy services to contemporary solutions using software defined networks, virtualization, automation, orchestration, segmentation and edge intelligence
Develop compelling business cases around problems, risks, benefits and business outcomes with the financial justification required to execute
Develop network solutions that meet or exceed cyber security, compliance and regulatory requirements of the business and our customers
Develop solutions that are highly available and cost efficient
You Must Have:
6 years of IT Infrastructure experience managing, securing, operating and supporting data Networking services with a strong focus on IP networking technologies specializing in enterprise LAN, WLAN, Campus and Branch site networking
2 years of experience with deployment of platforms like Cisco ISE and or DNA center
1 year of experience working with Service now or equivalent enterprise ITSM tools
Experience integrating multi-vendor network platforms with Service Now
Experience developing technology roadmaps, blue prints and tactical to strategic execution plans
Experience operating international, global and multi-national wide area networks with over 100 sites
Experience operating large, complex, business critical and revenue impacting local area networks
Strong analytical skills and ability to interface with SMEs working with complex networks
Must have experience in architecture, automation and orchestration, proactive and predictive service management, software defined infrastructures, segmentation, api’s and data privacy regulations
Hands on experience and expertise with but not limited to following technologies: TCP/IP, IP addressing, Routing Protocols, QOS/COS, Cisco switches, wireless controllers and access points, Checkpoint/Palo Alto Firewalls, Remote Access/VPN, Virtualization, Intent based Networking, Programming and Scripting, Chef, Puppet, DNS, DHCP, Geolocation, Load Balancing, IoT, Edge Computing, AI.
Experience and knowledge working with Governmental and Country specific regulatory, legal and compliance restrictions regarding telecommunications and data privacy
CCNA, CCIE certifications highly preferred
