We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Marketing Engineer (TME), who shall be a key member of the Technical Marketing team and will be the technical expert on Aruba’s products and technologies.
In a typical day as a Technical Marketing Engineer, you would…
Be responsible for supporting field enablement activities for outdoor and indoor wireless networks managed by Aruba gateways, Instant and Aruba Central
Be the technical expert across a range of Aruba product and functional areas, including but not limited to 802.11ax/ac/n, 802.11-2016, 802.11i/s, 802.11e/QoS, WLAN security including firewalls and WIDS/WIPS, WLAN APs and gateways, and also be familiar with other components of the Aruba solution portfolio such as switching, branch networks (SD-Branch), and network management
Help drive the inclusion of various bleeding-edge demos in the lab environment, as an extension to the Customer Experience Center (CEC) experience
Be actively engaged in various Aruba events like Sales Kickoffs, Aruba Atmosphere, HPE Aspire, TSS etc. to conduct live demos as well presentation/training sessions for partners and customers
Spend about 40% of your time in generating technical collateral, which includes reviewing and producing technical application notes, configuration and design guides, and assisting in curriculum and training development when required
Be responsible for review and development of white papers, technical briefs, and implementation documents for publication on the web and printed media.
Participate in and support technical forums, industry events, and other speaking events and industry shows
Participate in customer site visits, especially those involving field demonstrations or competitive bakeoffs
You are a BSEE with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years in technical marketing, technical sales, customer support, or equivalent role
You have deep and comprehensive understanding of networking technology and the ability to develop strong technical knowledge of company products
You have networking equipment evaluation experience
You have a solid understanding of 802.11 and mesh technologies and experience deploying WLANs for enterprises is required
You have a strong understanding of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing, and security is highly desirable
You have a good understanding of and experience with cloud services, cloud-managed network deployments
You hold well recognized industry certifications such as ACMX/ACDX/CWNE/CCIE strongly preferred
You have outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability in developing and delivering complex technical presentations
You are proficient in presenting in front of various-size sales team, C-level executives, customer audiences and industry forums
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have proven experience in design, development and implementation of technical papers and reports
You have experience driving projects in a cross-functional team
You are able to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline.
You have working knowledge of WLAN competitive landscape when presenting to SEs, sales and territory managers, and channel partners
